The event's objective is to encourage and reward such talent while also serving as a fundraiser to the American Cancer Society & Relay For Life of North McHenry County to aid in the crusade against cancer. </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B><U>The Event Competition Consists of Two Divisions </U></B></I><I><B>;</B></I></div> <div> <I><B>A Teen Division - For Amateur Contestants Ages 13 through 19</B></I></div> <div> <I><B>An Adult Division - For Amateur Contestants Ages 20 on up</B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B> </B></I></div> <div> <I><B><U>The Event Competition consists of Two Rounds where the Contestant must pass (qualify) </U></B></I></div> <div> <I><B><U>into the next level by Judge Panel Scoring;</U></B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>1. Audition Round - Where the entrant performs accapula (just vocals - no music) </B></I><I><B>solely</B></I><I><B> in front of a three person judging panel made up of local area music industry performers & professionals. </B></I></div> <div> <I><B>Entrants are rated on Voice Ability (35 points) Stage Presence (25 points), Appeal (25 points), </B></I></div> <div> <I><B>Appearance (15 points), by the judging panel. </B></I></div> <div> <I><B>The highest Top 10 scoring Contestants from each Division advance to the Finals. </B></I></div> <bR> <div> <I><B>2. Top 10 Finals Competition Round  - This round consists of the top qualifying 10 Contestants (highest scoring points) from both the Teen & Adult Division Auditions. This round of performance is to a self supplied karaoke cd, on stage with microphone and a karaoke lyrics monitor before a live Audience.
