7/08 - Relay For Life Idol 2007 Contestant, Kelly Waterman has been selected as a Finalist in the Chicago Cubs, Baby Ruth 7th Inning Stretch competition for an opportunity to sing at an upcoming Cubs game !
7/08 - Relay For Life Idol 2007 Winner, Rachel Meyer and Relay For Life Idol 2007 Contestant, Kelly Waterman selected as Finalists in the 2008 Summer Sunset Idol in Lake In The Hills. The finals are set for August 31st, 2008 in the Lake in the Hills at Sunset Park.
7/09/07 - Relay For Life Idol 2007 Contestant, Kelly Waterman - Our Kelly Waterman takes a step forward in the Lake In The Hills Summer Sunset Fest Idol Idol Competition. Way to go Kelly !!! - For the news story, click here. The finals will be held Sept. 2 at the Summer Sunset Festival, also in Lake in the Hills.
6/27/07 - Relay For Life Idol 2007 Contestant, Kelly Waterman - This past Saturday, our Kelly Waterman has successfully passed through the first round of auditions for the Lake in the Hills Summer Sunset Fest Idol Competition. This means she has made it to the Semi-Final Round to be held on July 8, 2007 in the Lake in the Hills at Sunset Park (Rockin Rotary Ribfest). Great job Kelly, and also a special thanks on raising additional monies for the Relay For Life of North McHenry County on June 22nd as a Contestant in the "Karaoke Superstar Competition" !!! Good luck in the competition, we are cheering

Yes, there are still available entrant openings in both Teen & Adult Divisions !!!
(Limited to Maximum of 50 Teens and 50 Adults per Division on a First Come, First Served Basis)
Dates: Teen Division Auditions (Ages 13 -19) take place Monday, May 28, 2007 &
Adult Division Auditions (Ages 20 +) on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 7 p.m.
Top 10 Finals for both Teen & Adult Divisions are on Monday, June 4, 2007 at 7 p.m.

The "Relay For Life Idol" is a not for profit community event designed to foster the growth of our local
McHenry County Area Adult & Teen Amateur Singers / Performers through a fun, positive and rewarding competitive environment. The event's objective is to encourage and reward such talent while also serving as a fundraiser to the American Cancer Society & Relay For Life of North McHenry County to aid in their crusade against cancer.
